Joining Civil Air Patrol
Joining Civil Air Patrol can be rewarding and a life-changing decision for those who choose to serve.
Requirements
To join the Civil Air Patrol, you must be a legal resident of the United States of America, be at least 12 years of age, be able to pay the annual dues, and must have a clear background check.
If you can meet these few requirements, you can join CAP!
How to Join
There are a few steps you need to take in order to join the Civil Air Patrol
Join us for a meeting! You'll find information on where our squadron is located on the "Contact Us" page of our website.
After you've attended three meetings, proceed to the next step.
Complete the membership application. This will be provided by the squadron personnel officer and can be filled out at a meeting.
Meet with the Squadron Membership Review Board.
Submit the application to the personnel office once it is completed.
